Stripping the anodize coat

Dear Reader,

I'm looking for a fast and safe way to strip the anodize coat off of motorcycle frames without sanding it down. Sanding adds to the scratches that I'm trying to avoid. If you have any information or tips please let me know as soon as possible.

A good way to strip anodize is to bring it in to a professional and request it be stripped in a chromic acid. It is much more friendly to the metal since its not an etch.
