Consultant needed for plating facility design

--

T-Bird Plating is a start-up metal finishing company. We are preparing to build a 16K Sq.Ft. facility and we are looking for someone with metal plating plant equipment and layout knowledge to assist in facility design. Our desire is to make best use of floor space available while incorporating all appropriate safeguards.

We are anticipating Rack and Barrel operations: Zinc will most likely be largest line. Other lines will include: Anodizing, Nickel, Electroless Nickel, Gold & Silver and perhaps Copper.

You might want to try getting in contact with some other finishers in your area. AESF Phoenix Branch is the closest organized group. If you are interested I can have our secretary let you know some member names from New Mexico. The yellow pages of the phone book is also a good source.

I have personally found that my fellow finishers at AESF meetings can help a lot by relating (and showing in person) how their shops work. They can also recommend reliable vendors for engineering services and plant equipment.
