Pitting before anodizing

+++

Dear Sir,

Galvanic pitting have any relationship with material chemical composition or any metallurgy effect. Recently, we found pitting problem suddently appear on our 6063-T5 anodize product. This pitting happen before anodizing process. The pit can be observed after desmutting process. We leave the aluminium extrusion in rinsing tank very short time. For information, one carry bar has two types aluminium extrusion but only one type has pitting problem but the other one do not have. Not all aluminium extrusion have pitting but some particular extrusion facing this pitting problem. If titanium jig which attached to aluminum carry bar holding aluminium extrusion and touching with rinsing water, galvanic effect pitting problem can be occured? If ion chloride in etching (caustic soda) tank too high can resulting this pitting problem?

Thank you,
