Refinishing iron bed [Idaho]

I have an old iron bed that was once painted white and then was sandblasted. It is now the gray metal color. I would like it to be a rusted white color. Sort of like if it was painted white and then put out in the rain. How do I get this without ruining the bed. Do I need to seal it once I achieve the look I am after?
