Special finish on aluminum heat sinks

++

Anoplate has been asked by one of its customers to apply a silico-chromate treatment to an aluminum heat sink. It's a coating that allegedly is more corrosion resistant than either chemical film (i.e. chromate) or anodize and outperforms electroless nickel. One such coating is only available on products manufactured and sold by a particular heat sink manufacturer. Has anyone heard of such a coating or offer any suggestions as an alternative?
