Burnt plate

This may not be exactly up your alley, but I hope you have some info. I accidentally burned a stainless plate and it turned blue and brown. Is there any fix for this?

No promises, but motorcycle shops offer products with names like "Blue Buster [link is to product info at Amazon]" or "Blue Away" to remove the blue color from hot chrome-plated exhaust pipes. Maybe they'll do something for you.
