Nickel-diamond bonding

++

I am looking to find a solution to an electroplating problem I have. I would like to find a material that I can coat diamond powder with for the purpose of making it conductive. I have seen info on boron-doped diamond and was wondering if there was a form of boron that could be obtained to literally coat the outside of the diamond long enough for the Ni matrix to bond to it.

Please let me know,

General Electric offers or offered electroless nickel plated diamond particles. They maybe still do, or another company may, or you may find an expired patent on how to do this. Patents and trade secrets in composite diamond plating are aggressively defended, so you may find licensing the technology to be the most practical thing to do.
