-----Enamel Coating
What is the difference between powder coating and enamel coating? Or they are just the same?
Angus Chow- Hong Kong
The term 'powder coating' has to do with how the coating is actually applied (as a powder, then melted--as opposed to a liquid). I don't believe that enamel has a rigorous definition, but it means a hard, glossy coating. So some enamels might be powder coated and some are not, some powder coatings might be enamels and some are not.
