-----How do I get the shine back?
Over the years I have collected a number of brass and copper items including once used ship marine lights and Asian (south and far east) art and cooking/storage pieces. I also have a number of purchased items that were coated with a protective coating that prevented tarnishing. On many of these items the coating is no longer providing the protection it once did. I need advice on how to get rid of the existing coatings so I can polish the items. I also need to know of a good protective coating to reapply to the shined items. I may also need to know how to apply it if there are special application conditions and procedures to get long lasting protection...thanks
