Tarnishing copper

I have made a pot rack for the kitchen out of copper tubing and would like to tarnish it to match existing light fixtures and decor. Unfortunately, all I can find is products and advice on how to remove tarnish. Any ideas?

Thanks,

If you simply remove any finish and expose it to air, the metal will naturally brown. For other shades, or to accelerate the process, use a little flat brown paint applied with a very dry brush at the junctions and corners. Flat green paint will give a verdigris effect.
