Motorcycle restoration

I recently bought my first motorcycle to restore. Some of the chrome is in fair condition. Is there a type of polish I can try first instead of rechroming. If not what would be a good book to learn about the chrome stripping and plating process. Any information would be helpful, I'm new at this.

Hi, Derek.

I think you'll find our "Introduction to Chrome Plating" to be a good introduction to what it's about. Try chrome polish and constant waxing first :-)
