Letter 12081

Getting my solid brass bed cleaned

I have a solid brass bed that was my grandmother's. It is badly tarnished. My step father and I have tried everything that we can think of to get the last layer off. It looks like there may have been some kind of a finish put over it. I don't know where to go or who to ask to fix it. It's in excellent condition except for the tarnish. I hope someone can help me.
