Letter 11072 A joining of two plates
Does anyone know a process for chemically or molecularly bonding a copper plate .0020" thick to a steel plate .0008" thick? It must be able to withstand heating to 400 degrees F on a regular basis. Michael Wilks
Does it absolutely have to be steel? Electroplating the copper with nickel would seem to be a very straightforward answer if nickel can do the job.
