I would like to make a sword 

I would also like to know how to make a sword blade and the handle and hilt. Without any fancy euipment. Just with non electrical tools.

The search you should make on Google or AltaVista, etc, should include the term "bladesmithing". You'll get many, many hits for sites with information on this art. Strangely enough, you probably won't get finishing dot com.
