Laymen Needs Plating Guidance

---

I'm not in finishing industry. However, I need info on PTFE, Titanium Nitride, and Diamond Black coatings for IC manufacturing equipment wear parts.

I am also looking for local supplier in Phoenix, AZ area (or somewhere in Southwest US at least) to work with.

PTFE can be applied by spraying, dipping in fluidized bed, etc; it can also be applied by codeposition during nickel plating.

Titanium nitride is a vacuum process, not electroplating, and SVC (www.svc.org) can probably help you

Regarding diamond black, please see http://www.finishing.com/0400-0599/582.shtml

If you are still interested in these products please feel free to contact me via e-mail, phone, or fax. I can provide information on composite electroless nickel coatings containing one or more of various materials including diamond, silicon carbide, PTFE, boron nitride, etc. for exceptional wear resistence and or lubricity.
