Permalloy Alloy Plating

Hi,

I am looking for commercial permalloy (Ni78%-Fe22%) plating solution.

Do you know if anybody sells something like that?

M&T Chemicals [Atotech USA, Inc.], among others, developed a nickel-iron plating solution when nickel prices started to move. It was for bumpers, but I understand it would also set off the alarms in security devices in libraries. What he was doing driving around in the library, I'll never know.

Maybe NiFe plating has some other interesting magnetic properties.
