Hello all: My question is regarding plating to spec's. We are a job shop doing dec. nickel chrome. We are also doing electroless nickel and electropolishing. We are asked if our finish meets FDA approval. So I need to know where to research FDA standards. Is there a place on the internet or at a library? Any help is welcome. Thanks.

We are a manufacturer of connection components and need to know if electroless nickel plating is compatible with soft drink and fruit juice syrups? Can it be approved by the FDA as an acceptable plating for the above medias?
