Antique Mirror Patina Solution is a water based alkaline that simulates the tarnish and distress of an antique mirror on any new mirror.

SIMPLE 3 STEP ANTIQUING PROCESS

1. Using our exclusive Mirror Stripper, easily remove the protective coating on the back of any mirror exposing the electroplated reflective surface. (Has no harsh fumes. Ideal for indoor use. )

2. Apply A.M.P.S. for desired effect. ( Antique Mirror Patina Solution contains NO acid! )

3. Seal mirror surface with high quality paint and/or shellac.

Antique Mirror Patina Solution is water base alkaline and has a DOT rating of 2, a mild corrosive. Antique Mirror Patina Solution produces odor and fumes and should be used in a well ventilated area. Avoid mixing with acids or alcohols. The solution is not considered a carcinogen, although may cause irritation to airway passages or skin. One should avoid contact with eyes and skin. Antique Mirror Patina Solution contains sulfates; individuals with asthma or other severe respiratory conditions should not use this product. Eye protection, chemical safety gloves and protective clothing should be worn while using paint remover / stripper and Antique Patina Mirror Solution. If exposed to skin wash thoroughly with soap and cold water. If splashed in eyes, flush with cold water for 15 minutes. If swallowed, induce vomiting and call a physician immediately.
