Martex have an excellent reputation for creating new metallic powder effects for the interior design manufacturing industry. Martex scratchless silver and sparkle silver can be seen in many of the high street shopping malls. Amongst their "Artpow" range of metallic powders you will also find a wide choice of aluminiums, golds, pewter, night sky, chrome-effect and many others based upon blue, green, red, and purple in various concentrations of the metallic theme.
The Martex "One-bake Wood Grain" effect has been available for about seven years which is about the same time that the Martex authentic looking "Rust" and "Verdi-Gris" have been around.
One product that we feel specially meets today's requirements for environmental and personal protection is "Anoprime" -- a waterborne primer that is applied to ferrous and non-ferrous substrates prior to powder coating. It requires no baking, as it is cured when the applied powder is being baked. Cranfield University indicated that the VOC's were only 90ppm. The product contains no chromates but will prevent rust creep (tested in excess of 1000 hours) in accordance with test procedure ASTM B117. Also a must for the galvaniser who powder coats.
The Martex Universal Mileage Chart is a unique powder coating tool used by many powder applicators around the world. The calculator provides the facility to obtain the powder coverage for mils or microns. In addition, it will provide costing in any denomination including the amount of powder required for any given area.
