+

I have a brass lamp which has rust on it. I was wondering how could I remove it without damaging the brass lamp.

HI THERE, I HAVE JUST FINISHED AN OLD OIL BURNER LAMP FOR A CLIENT AND IT WAS BLACK, FIRST CHECK IF IT IS LACQUERED IF SO PAINT STRIP FIRST THEN WHEN COMPLETED POLISH ON A BUFFING WHEEL WHERE YOU WILL SEE A BIG DIFFERENCE. IF YOU WANT A LONGER LASTING FINISH THEN NICKEL PLATE AND THEN GOLD PLATE.
