Letter 7092 Paint process for anodised aluminium+ My home has anodised aluminium window frames. (bronze coloured) The previous owner has painted the inside of these frames to match the room decor. An effective result being achieved. However the paint does not adhere at all well, particularly along the bottom edges. the used was acrylic over an etch primer. I am interested in a satisfactory method of painting this anodised Al. preparation, priming and finish coating ie enamel or acrylic paint. Ron Collyer
++++ There is a company called AluRestore in New Zealand that does this kind of recoating work on anodised windows and doors. I have seen their work. Check if there is a rep near you. Stephen Todd
