SORRY BUD. THERE`S NO SUCH THING. CHROMING INVOLVES COPPER NICKLE ,AND CHROME TANKS. WITH DRAG OUT TANKS ETC.

I would like to correct you on that. I work for a powersports store; we sell mostly streetbikes and superbikes. We also do Chrome plating. We do indeed use a chrome plating machine and there are many that do exist. They run anywhere from $1000 dollars to as much as $10000 pending on the size of the machine.

Where can I buy a good machine and are there any schools for chrome plating?

Hi, Devin. There are paints that are sufficiently bright that some people may erroneously call them "chrome plating", but they actually have nothing at all to do with chrome plating. Does the machine you refer to do copper electroplating, followed by semibright nickel electroplating, followed by bright nickel electroplating, followed by electroplating with hexavalent chromic acid -- or is it just shiny paint?

Hi, Steve. Start with our Chrome Plating Tutorial. Good luck.
