Properties of Zinc vs. Manganese phosphated fasteners.

I am a metallurgical engineer work for a multinational engineeringindustry. I would like to know if there is any difference in thetribological properties of Zn-phosphated & Mn-phosphatedfasteners? Is there any difference in fatigue properties?

Manganease phosphate is used as a final finish plus oiling whilezinc phosphate is mostly used as base to paint.
