Letter 6004 Restoring bronze statue. I'm looking for information on restoring a bronze statue. Teddy Foster
Teddy, Brush Plating has been used on several occasions to repair bronze statues. Since Brush Plating uses hand held electrodes you can concentrate the plating where you need it and you can do the work in place or in a shop. Brush Plating can be used to fill in pits or corroded areas, as cap over larger repairs for blending or for color blending. If toucan let me know what kind of restoration you are doing we can swept we can do to help. If you have any questions check our web site or feel free to give me a call.
November 16, 2007 To restore your bronze statue, you must address its structure; was
it dropped, or hit by a car? - and its shape; is one of the legs
crushed, or an arm broken off? Howard Newman
Dear Reader: please choose what you want to do.
