Grinding and polishing method for surgical instruments made from SS 410

Surgical Instruments are of uneven shaped, surface and sizes. We use bench grinders which require skilled labours which is a big problem. Can we do away with hand work and add automation to it?

Regarding Finishing the conventional method is to use EMRI POWDER over a BRUSHING WHEEL SIRUS ( Animal Fat / a kind of an adhesive ) which is coated on a wheel. Can we have better finishing and automation to it?

Most surgical instruments are electropolished. If they are too rough, they are pre-processed in a vibratory system. You can get a mirror finish using only mass finishing; however, it is shorter ime to electropolish.
