Difference between painting, powder coating and hot dip galvanizing

what is the difference between painting , powder coating and hot dip galvanizing ?

Hi, Gan. In painting, the pigments and the protective organics are dissolved in a solvent, whether oil or water, which usually evaporates or sometimes catalyzes, and leaves the coating on the articles. I am confident that you have heard of paint before.

In powder coating, the article is usually sprayed with plastic in a powder form, but sometimes dipped into a fluidized bed of the powdered plastic, and the part is then heated to cause the plastic to melt, flow over the surface, and fuse.

In hot dip galvanizing the work is dipped into a vat of molten zinc, which then cools, leaving a coating of zinc on the object.
