Seeking Brass Dip

October 15, 2009

I am looking for a product such as Brass Dip that was supplied by Paxton Production Supply. They no longer exist and I am now looking for an alternative to what this brass dip did. It coated the brass with a bright yellow pickled finish that would not tarnish after being dipped in the solution for only 10 to 15 seconds. It came in a crystal form and was added to water to make up the solution. After dipping in brass dip the casting was then dipped into Nitric acid for only a couple of seconds to finish the polishing process.
Could anyone please direct me to this product or another that is similar.
