Need anti seize coating on large stainless steel threads [Czech Republic]

October 8, 2009

I am seeking for solution to avoid seizing on bolt- nut connection made from stainless steel. Bolt is from martenzitic stainless X17CrNi16-2+QT800 (1.4057), nut from austenitic stainless steel. Difference in surface hardness is large but bolt screw has a seizing damage after assembly. The bolt size is M120, length 1550mm, threads are on both ends in length app. 200mm. The test assembly was performed in vertical configuration, the weight of the bolt was compensated by crane, nut was fixed. The used lubricant during assembly was Neolube No.2 - nuclear application.

Is there any advice how to solve this problem? Other lubricant, special coating like PVD, galvanic coating?

Thanks for help.
