Can we switch to insoluble anodes in continuous tin plating?

April 9, 2009

We are in the tinplate business for last 30 years and using a technology from US Steel. Our line is a vertical line and using PSA as acid media for solution.Ours is soluble anode technology with 17 pass ,but now we want to use insoluble anode in one pass. Is it possible to do ,if yes how?
