Need brass tinted lacquer

January 28, 2009

I need a brass tinted lacquer (aerosol based) to spray on a silver metal substrate to emulate a brass finish. I believe that the product I am looking for may be called electrophoretic.

Hi, Barry. Electrophoretic lacquer is lacquer that is applied by e-coating (electropainting). This is an immersion process requiring factory equipment. What you are seeking is simply brass-tone aerosol lacquer. I am not sure of its availability, but try G.J. Nikolas. Good luck.
