I need a new method for refining gold from my factory's floor dust?

January 22, 2009

factory floor dust
we used to burn the floor dust for 600' c (approx) and we use magnet to remove the iron particles. After removing them we used to wash with water for removing gold dust and ash. we use nitric acid for removing silver, copper, & other metals and we dispose of the nitric.
After that process we add mercury for collecting the gold particles separated and burn out the mercury then melt the remaining gold.

this is my method of gold recovering from dust
I need a new and simple method for extracting gold from dust?

I need a method of how to recover gold from buffing dust?

In general, the process you are using is standard, except for the use of mercury. I would suggest that you pose your question on goldrefiningforum.com. Also, do a search on that forum. There are several safer alternative methods that have already been covered there.
