Skip plating problems

We are doing plastic chrome plating here in the philippines for more than a year.
We encountered skip plating just like pittings after copper sulfate. what is the cause of that? can u help me?

Joemer,
In copper sulfate baths skip plating is usually caused by excessive organics that interfere with the leveling of the deposit. I would carbon treat the bath, add back additives per hull cell tests. Also check to make sure the bath agitation is sufficient. Good Luck!
