Percentage of nickel in zinc-nickel acid, alkaline and sulphate baths

this question is of interest as we require the correct quantities as we require to start the bath.

That information would be contained in the vendors technical data sheet. If you are not using a proprietary formulation then you need to experiment yourself.

HELLO SIR,
Generally alkaline zinc baths contains 10-15 percent of nickel and rest is zinc.

For good corrosion resistance, the higher the nickel conent up to 15%, the better. However if a post treatment such as a chromate, Hex or try chrome, is requirred 9 percent nickel is suggested. Higher nickel content makes it difficult to obtain a good resistant finish of the post treatment.
