Environmentally hazardous nature of zinc dichromate coated metals

.

In fabricating radioactive liquid processing systems we try very hard not to introduce materials which will be RCRA hazardous when ultimately disposed of due to limited capacity for recycling radioactive metals. Some metal plating, such as cadmium, will leach toxic cadmium above regulatory limits, and is therefore environmentally hazardous if disposed of by burial. I need to know if hardware items, fittings etc. with a zinc dichromate coating would result in a RCRA hazardous waste due to the chromium.
