Poor adhesion on stain steel metals because of glue
June 18, 2008
Hi, I need a help.
Hi, I have some adhesion problems with stainless steel products.
We clear powder Coat, but this metal came with some plastic cover blue on one side of the piece.
I try many differences solvents, cleaners (Thinner lacquer, acetone , alcohol, 5 station washer machine) to remove the glue left on the piece , when we remove the blue plastic cover.
We don't know what kind of plastic are or what kind of glue, this pieces came from Japan
The area with no plastic cover, we don't have any problems.
I ask has somebody already resolved this issue or have some comments.
Thanks
Appreciate your help.

Everyone has preferences and mine is xylene and also known as xylenol. It is available at any paint store of any size. I think that it is safer to use as well as a great adhesive remover and it does not affect paint (much).
