Are There Any Intern Opportunities Around

I am just starting in the industry and have a small, 100 gal., decorative chrome line. We are set up with Cyanide Copper, Acid Copper, Electroless Nickel (7601), and Hex Chrome.
We are expecting our last permit from the EPA within the next week or two.
I have a background in electronics, and mechanics. I have several books from several sources including some recommended from the library on this site.
I am sure I can figure all this process out after a long time but I have some vacation time and was wondering if there were any Intern opportunities around.
I'm in the states in Arkansas but I can travel if need be.
I know that the learning in a live environment is priceless.

I would suggest that you contact industrial plating facilities in your area. If it is the type of shop that you will not be completing with, they may allow you to "intern". Actually, if you are going to be doing "retail" plating they may be happy to know someone to refer the phone calls they receive to.
