Can this Old, Tired Door Lever go from "Brassy" to Polished Nickel?

HELP!! I am a homeowner redoing the house. Down to doors now, and have "brass" door levers. You know the kind - brass finish over pot metal. Is it possible to have them nickel plated? Or some similar finish? I've called quite a few companies in the Lakeland FL area, and they either don't do replating of this type or are out of business.

Could you please let me know: (1) Is this doable? and (2) If so, who I can call.
