Business lettering on John Deere tractor

March 7, 2008

Hi there, I have recently started an Art / Design business and was asked if I could paint a business name on the side of a John Deere 320 bobcat machine, on top of the existing yellow paint.
I was wondering what is the best way to go about this?
Should I roughen up the yellow paint with sandpaper?
What type of paint should be used?
How should it be sealed to ensure it will withstand nasty weather and direct sunshine?
I would really appreciate your feedback or suggestions,
Cheers from British Columbia,
Shannon
