Goldplate bath fixture finish restore?

+++++++

I have a bathroom with 12 year old goldplated fixtures that have had the finish marred by time and cleaning. Additionally, there does not seem to be any access to remove them for replacement. My question is this, is there a way to retore the finish or change it to something that looks good and not just old and worn? I really do not want to have to remove tile and drywall to replace these fixtures, any ideas?

Thanks
