We need conductive finish on polyester resin for copper electroplating [Mexico]

We want to electroplate artistic pieces (polyester resin) in silver and gold.But only have doing it with initial coating in silver but it's too expensive.
Is there another way to turn polyester to electric conductive for electroplating?
