Old metal [South Dakota]

I bought a house in March and had a more modern theme going on in the living room. However, now that my boyfriend lives here he wants to hang his trophy deer in the living room... theres about 6 deer heads all in all.
With my modern theme I had alot of black metal peices (im pretty sure it's just pot metal)and obviously that isnt going to "mesh" persay with the deer heads on the wall. I was wondering if there is anything I can do to give the metal an older look, without making it look like i just went dumpster diving. I would love any advice, thanks.

Your boyfriend is a lucky guy. Not one woman in a hundred would allow ONE deer head in their living room :-)
