I want to purchase a plastic chroming system and want some feed back

I am a 60 year old body shop manager, I have been in the body shop business all my life.
I want to start a plastic chroming business that I can work for a couple of years , with my son and then give it to him. I am interested in any feedback. I this works I would like to expand this business into powder coating also.

Start with the powder coating instead. It's simpler, less expensive, and more environmentally benign.

Or consider a "chrome-like paint" operation. Real plating on plastic is a major industrial undertaking and you would need to hire someone with years of experience as well.
