Over coating Zinc in Galvanize Wire

Hi,

Got new job at Wiring Industry with no Chemical and Steel Industry background whatsoever and try to learn about Galvanizing Wire.

Please help me on this subject, especially on:
- Zinc Temperature and it's effect on Zinc Coating
(Our Zinc Temp has been fluctuate anywhere between 810-860 on 24hrs shift)
I was told, the higher the Kettle temp, the better the coating. How high is too high?
What is the "perfect" temperature to maintain good coating at good speed?
- Withdrawal Rate
(I checked the QC record and it shows that we have been overcoating ALOT!)
Management wants high speed withdrawal yet maintain Zinc coating at standard,
especially with Zinc Price that has been skyrocketing. I understand that lower speed will reduce Zinc coating. For some reason, we have been using more zinc lately with same amount of galvanizing production. I was told nothing was changed in the process.

Can somebody send me the correlation/graph between Withdrawal Rate and Thickness of Coating. What is the good withdrawal speed for different type of Wire. I hope these are public information that available for anybody.
