Polarity of Type I Anodize

++++++

If the tank is the cathode is that hooked up to the positive lead of the rectifier. I heard from an outside lab that the leads were reversed for chromic anodizing. Is this correct?

In all anodizing, the positive juice goes to the workpiece, negative to the cathode(s).

Anode - oxidation
Cathode - reduction

I'm positive that I've seen an ox before, but it's a negative on the red cat, David :-)
