Thanks for not acceptable answer but it is better you know that we are the biggest company in Iran for production of phosphating in automotive industry and your answer is out of any scientific and business direction.

I am so unhappy from my self that truth for finishing.com

Sorry that my response was not what you wanted, Mr. Farshid. Your question remains on-line and if anyone offers a reply we'll be happy to print it!

I apologize that my answer made you unhappy, but my opinion has been consistent: I think everyone is best off when suppliers make a major commitment to the development of new technologies, and then retain the fruit of their labor as proprietary to allow them to recover their development cost. Patent agencies thoughout the world agree that the best way forward for the world is to give a company exclusive rights for a period, after which anyone can follow the patent.

I feel that when we expect formulations to be shared over the 'net for free, we leave no financial incentive for anyone to do original R&D and advance the technology.

As the largest supplier in Iran, perhaps you will be able to develop an activator that is better than the Italian one. When you achieve that, people from other countries will feel compelled to buy your proprietary because it is better. Just my personal opinion.

Good luck, peace, and regards,
