Will anodizing (black) a welded miter in 6063-T52 result in uneven color?

++++++

I have reviewed many "how to" postings and decided to hire the anodizing out at this time. The welding will also be hired out so wire selection is an open variable.

I want a perfect surface and am also concerned that even if the color is equally dark the light reflection off the extruded aluminum will be different then off of the welded surface. I could wet sand the entire surface before anodizing to get a uniform texture but am concerned that the extruded "texture" is what results in the satin quality that I want and sanding will negate that effect. Powder coating may be a better choice but I prefer the "satin" quality of anodized surfaces.

Thought I would see what others have to say before paying and being disappointed.
