Plated parts stain after baking

need help on finding out what cause staining on au. plated parts after baking at 380 deg. c there are no evidence of any kind of stain before bake. the stain looks kind of like water that dried on the surface of the parts.any advice is greatly appreciated.

It may be some problems like the following list.
First ,The staining may be made by the oil or water on the parts surface or from the environment.
Second,it may be some relation with the bake condition.Some paint need it's special baking condition(include temp ,time).

Noel: While I don't have any experience with your specific problem. I have had some post baking staining problems on a zinc plating line. Our problem was related to the quality of water in our final rinse tank. Whenever the pH became slightly acidic (<6.8) we would see black spots develop after the baking step. Problem solved by increase the water flow rate and dumping more frequently. Bob Holderman
