Letter 40019 Chrome wheels are discoloring [California]  March 23, 2006 My chrome wheels are discoloring. only two of the four. Dealer telling me all sorts of different things please advise. I've noticed that many cars, even those with 4-wheel disk brakes, accumulate a huge amount of brake dust on the rear and none on the front. What do you mean by discoloration?
