Plating electroless nickel on gold coated wafer

++++++

We are a electroless nickel plating shop in Korea, and recently one of our customers wanted a gold coated silicon wafer plated with electroless nickel. Don't ask me why, but that's the spec. Can anyone direct me in the right direction with the proper pretreatment. Any help would be great.
Thank You.

Pure gold never passivates or rusts and is always prone to plating. You only need to remove foreign soils or oxides, greases, oils and organic contaminants from its surface thoroughly and go. There are certain metals that require an underplate to avoid interdiffusion, tohugh.
