Need anodizing of a cast aluminum part with some stainless pins

++++++

I have an aluminum part cast for a sailboat (rudder stock) that has been cast with two stainless pins in the casting. The forge told me that we should be able to anodize the part with the stainless pins in place. The anodizing shop is telling me that the stainless pins will be eaten off by the anodizing. Is there anyone who knows how to anodize this part with the pins in place?

We are a production shop located in Richmond, CA.
